Barbara C. Burgess
Barbara C. (Heasley) Burgess, 84, of Zelienople, formerly of Allison Park, passed away Sunday while in the comfort of her home.
Born Feb. 10, 1928, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Ruth L. (Kerr) Heasley.
Barbara was a member of the English Lutheran Church, a former member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glenshaw and a former member of the Glenshaw Country Club.
After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Mellon Bank as the vice president of the trust department.
She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, Donald L. Burgess, who she married on March 23, 1996; her three daughters, Judi Webster and her husband, William, of Bel Air, Md., Stephanie Petri and her husband, Steven, of Middle River, Md., and Donna Burgess of Baltimore County, Md.; her five grandchildren, Kristi Lanciotti and her husband, Jason, of Maryland, Steven Petri Jr. and his wife, Emma, of Maryland, Kim Webster of Maryland, Danielle Gerkens of Maryland and Brett Gerkens of Maryland; her sister, Ruth Jean Brooks of Morgantown, W.Va.; her sister-in-law and best friend, Helen Beckert of Allison Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her former husband, Albert J. Beckert, who passed away on Nov., 20, 1994; her two brothers, John D. Heasley and Robert J. Heasley Jr.; and her grandson, Gordon Webster.

(Heasley) Burgess, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, will welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at the English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger officiating. Please meet at the church.She will be laid to rest at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Allegheny County Memorial Park in McCandless Township.
