PA football Week 3: Photos from Karns City, Mars, Freeport and Seneca Valley games

Week 3 of the 2024 PIAA football season was Sept. 6 across Butler County. The Butler Eagle was at several games, covering the biggest players, hardest tackles and most thrilling touchdowns.

This week’s games, though, were severely impacted by weather. St. Marys at Karns City and Quaker Valley at Freeport were postponed to Saturday, while Pine-Richland at Seneca Valley was canceled and will not be made up. After a nearly two-hour delay on Friday night, the North Hills at Mars game resumed at 9 p.m.
