Much in Prospect, U.S. to appreciate
Just when you thought Prospect is boring, this happened.
The little known Prospect Beer Club, which has four members, opened itself up to include spouses, relatives and friends for a gala end-of-season picnic on Sept. 1.
Here's what was extraordinary: the “bigly, yuge” assembly of young, old (under 10, over 90) female, male, students, professionals, workers, retirees, volunteers, self-employed, faithful, agnostic, atheist, conservative, liberal and water, wine and beer drinkers sat together on a patio on just about the most beautiful day imaginable and drank, broke bread, chatted and enjoyed being alive, free and in each other's company for several hours.
There's so much in America and in Prospect to love and cherish. And much that unites us can be beautifully simple.
