Wings, Water & Wildlife coming to Buffalo Creek
The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania will hold its annual Wings, Water and Wildlife program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Buffalo Creek Nature Park, 154 Monroe Road, Sarver.
The free event along Buffalo Creek celebrates the impact of clean water on birds, fish and the animals in the woods.
Nature crafts, games, the Flying Solo Marketplace, a nature-themed book sale, a mobile environmental display and H2Oh! On the Go! will be featured at the event.
Information will be shared on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail, as well as the work being done in the watershed.
A news release from the society said Buffalo Creek is one of the most biologically diverse watersheds in the state.
