Trees donated for memorial
SHANKSVILLE — Organizers of the Sept. 11 memorial in New York have donated 40 trees to the Flight 93 site in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Three of the sweet gum trees will be planted during a ceremony Saturday at the Flight 93 site near Shanksville. Forty passengers and crew died after fighting with terrorists to crash the plane into a field.
Remaining trees will be planted over the next few weeks.
