Mary Esther Sebak

Mary Esther Sebak, 81, of Saxonburg died Wednesday at Lund Care Center, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born June 4, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Elmer and Mary Esther Ritter.

She had been a computer programmer at Applied Science Computer.

Mrs. Sebak was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills. She also belonged to the Saxonburg American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Ernest J. Sebak, whom she married Nov. 24, 1956; a son, Ernest A. Sebak of Palm Harbor, Fla.; five daughters, Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Yanchuk of Bristow, Va., Mrs. Thomas (Deborah) Butler of Finksburg, Md., Elaine Sebak of Pembroke, Mass., Mrs. Paul (Christine) Wagner of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. David (Cynthia) Harnish of Wexford; and two brothers, Elmer Ritter of Fort Myers, Fla., and William Ritter of Pittsburgh. Nine grandchildren also survive.

A sister preceded her in death.

SEBAK — Friends of Mary Esther Sebak, who died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. p.m. Friday at the FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Airy Cemetery, Harrison Township, Allegheny County.Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
