The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center has been awarded a $25,000 grant to expand its dental program hours to include Saturday appointments.

This grant comes from the Highmark Foundation and will allow the Community Health Center to offer dental appointments to patients one Saturday per month.

The Community Health Center’s dental program provides preventive and basic restorative dental care to uninsured and underinsured adults who meet the center’s income guidelines, with services available include cleanings, exams, X-rays, fillings, extractions and more.
