Motorists should be aware of upcoming lane changes in Middlesex and Adams townships.

Monday, Sept. 23 through Saturday, Sept. 28, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., flaggers will direct traffic along Route 228 in the area of Helenz Way, Three Degree Road and Robert Williams Drive to allow contractors to make traffic adjustments. In addition, traffic signals will be set to flashing yellow.

After Saturday morning, traffic will be shifted onto the new pavement on Route 228.

This is one phase of the Three Degree Road Intersection Project, which is expected to finish in November 2026 at a cost of $55.8 million.
