Michael Haraburda

Haraburda

Michael Thomas Haraburda, 71, of Slippery Rock, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024.

He was the son of Joseph and Ethel May Haraburda, who preceded him in death. He was raised in North Braddock and graduated from Scott High School in 1971. Michael served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Allegheny Mineral, where he was an operating engineer.

Michael enjoyed watching Steelers games with his brother, Dave; fishing; vacationing in Myrtle Beach; and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and American Legion Post 243. He previously attended Christ’s Outreach Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Tori, and son-in-law, Richard Wojtaseski, of Jeannette; beloved grandchildren, Reese and Carter Wojtaseski; brother, David (Karen) Haraburda of Slippery Rock; sister, Marie Wagner of North Braddock; and brother, Bernard Haraburda of Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Paul; and nephew, Ian Haraburda.

HARABURDA — Friends and family of Michael Thomas Haraburda, who died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, are invited to attend a memorial service at 2:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Misfits On A Mission at misfitsonamission.com/donate.
