Lawrence “Larry” Clifford Arblaster, 78, of Slippery Rock, passed away at AHN Grove City Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024.

Larry was born in Grove City, on Jan. 6, 1946, to Elmer Clifford and Anna Rose Stanley Arblaster.

He graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1964. He married Nancy J. Arblaster on Aug. 31, 1970. He was a self-employed contractor working in both commercial and residential real estate. He had also worked for NexTier Bank in private security and had previously served as a police officer for Harrisville. He enjoyed hunting and playing with his backhoe.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, at home; sons, Mike (Tiffany) of Slippery Rock and Larry of Harrisville; daughter, Terri (Joel) Wehner of Houston, Texas; sister, Star (Kevin) Vespaziani of Slippery Rock; two brothers, Steve (Linda) Arblaster and David (Barb) Arblaster, both of Slippery Rock; and six grandchildren, Dalton (Evah) Arblaster, Madison Arblaster, Logan Arblaster, Brooke Arblaster, all of Slippery Rock, and Zachary Wehner and Ethan Wehner, both of Houston, Texas.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark (Crystal) Arblaster; and grandson, Dominic Pompa.

ARBLASTER — There will be no public services at this time for Lawrence “Larry” Clifford Arblaster, who died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, https://give.michaeljfox.org/give/508128, to support research in Parkinson's disease.

Arrangements are entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Slippery Rock.
