Larry Davis, 61, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Dec. 2, 1962, to the late Raymond Davis and Mildred “Millie” (Patterson) Davis.

Larry graduated from Moniteau High School and honorably served in the U.S. Army as a mechanic. He was employed at Cueco for 10 years, worked at Sugarbowl for five years and spent several years bartending at the Chestnut Inn. Larry loved to play golf and enjoyed watching “Wheel of Fortune” and Pittsburgh sports teams. He is forever loved and missed by many.

He was the father of Misty (Davis) Bowman, Chad McCune and Bard McCune; brother of James “Jim,” Terry and Roger Davis; grandfather of Connor Bowman, Rex McCune, Salena Gonzalez Carrero, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Cierra, Aurora, Zaylia and Danica Carrero; and great-grandfather of Madalyn Carrero.

Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert “Bob” Davis and Joyce (Davis) Wilson.

DAVIS — Family and friends of Larry Davis, who died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Full military honors and a prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
