PennDOT announces road projects for week of Sept. 23
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced its Butler County maintenance activities for the week of Sept. 23.
Mowing on road will take place on Interstate 79 in Worth, Muddy Creek, Lancaster, Jackson and Cranberry townships.
Interstate 79 will also see deck repairing work in Jackson Township and crack sealing in multiple townships.
Route 8 will have shoulder stabilization work in Slippery Rock and Mercer townships, along with patching and tail ditching in Center and Brady townships.
Hallston Road will have shoulder stabilization in Brady and Clay townships.
Whitestown Road will have pipe replacement in Butler Township.
Paving will take place on Keister Road in Slippery Rock and Cherry townships; Boyers Road/Cemetery Road in Mercer and Marion townships; and Branchton Road Slippery Rock and Cherry townships.
West Sunbury Road will undergo crack sealing in various townships.
