Belowich 50th anniversary
David and Cheryl Belowich, of Butler Township, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a sightseeing train and bus trip to Glacier, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Bryce Canyon, Zion and Grand Canyon national parks and Mackinac Island.
Belowich married the former Cheryl Manown on Sept. 14, 1974, in Monessen City Park.
They have two children, Sean Belowich of Sewickley and Brian Belowich of Pittsburgh.
The Belowiches also have two grandchildren.
Belowich is a retired swimming coach.
He coached at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, Seneca Valley High School, University of South Florida, Florida State University, Sarasota High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Belowich is a retired business teacher.
She taught business subjects at Sarasota Junior High, Augusta Raa Middle School in Tallahassee, Fla., and South Butler County School District.
