Audrey Ellen Eisenhuth Jackson, 84, of Sugarcreek Township, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at Sugarcreek Rest.

Born Nov. 3, 1939, in Chicora, she was the daughter of Russell H. and Anna (Rottman) Snyder.

Audrey married Edward Eisenhuth in 1957 and together they raised four daughters. Following Edward’s death, she later married Carl E. Jackson, who survives.

Audrey was employed for over 10 years by Butler Hospital in the dietary department. She also had worked for the Kittanning Public Library, kept the books for the Ford garage in Petrolia, and spent many years as the primary caregiver for her late husband, Edward.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Community Church. She enjoyed reading, tending to her African violets and spending summers on the water boating. She was an avid collector of Santa Clauses.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Carl E. Jackson of Sugarcreek Township; four daughters, Debora (husband, Eric) Grubbs of Chicora, Lori (husband, Steve) Bly of Sugarcreek Township, Crystal (husband, Dean) Fair of Meadville and Sherri (husband, Brian) Boltz of Kittanning; three stepchildren, Timothy (Kathy) Jackson of Austin, Texas, Trenton (Christy Kreiter) Jackson of Sewickley and Tracey (Justin Kinlock) Jackson of North Versailles; and her brother, Sam Snyder of Maulden, S.C.

Audrey also is survived by 11 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Kristen Bly, Dan Bly, Samantha (Andrew) Hagan, Josiah (Shelby) Grubbs, Chelsea Grubbs, Hannah Grubbs, Emma Grubbs, Ben (Sylvia) Fair, Julia Fair, Jonathan Boltz and Maria (Aaron) Schreiber; five great-grandchildren, Crichton Bly, Blake Fair, Sophia Fair, Eivin Hagan and Bennett Hagan; six stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Jackson, Heather (Lane) Lewis, Kyle Jackson, Joziah Jackson, Alicia Penberthy and Kaylee Penberthy; and her Sheltie dog, Angel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Eisenhuth; two brothers, John and Russ Snyder; one granddaughter, Jessica Fair; one great-grandson, John Hagan; and two sisters-in-law, Judy Snyder and Linda Snyder.

EISENHUTH JACKSON — Friends of Audrey Ellen Eisenhuth Jackson, who died Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, will be received from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Community Church, 2167 Route 268, Chicora.

Funeral services will follow at the church at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Frank Sapp officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey’s name to St. Paul’s Community Church, 2167 Route 268, Chicora, PA 16025.
