A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to AHN Grove City after a collision with a deer on Eau Claire Road in Marion Township.

The incident was first reported at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. Emergency dispatch said volunteer fire departments from Marion Township and Harrisville responded to the scene, along with Superior EMS.

Roads were blocked for “a very short time,” according to a Marion Township emergency medical services representative.

It is unknown what happened to the deer.
