Treese 60th anniversary

Armel and Jean Treese

Armel and Jean Treese of Cranberry Township celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Springfield Grille in Adams Township.

The former Jean Gebhardt married Treese on Aug. 1, 1947, at Grace Lutheran Church in Troy Hill.

They have two children, Linda Treese of Cranberry Township and Timothy Treese of New Kensington.

They also have a granddaughter.

Treese is retired. He is a past member of the Cranberry Township Fire Company.

Mrs. Treese is a homemaker. She is a past member of the Cranberry Township Fire Company Auxiliary and the Cranberry Garden group.

The couple belongs to Plains Presbyterian Church, where Treese has been a member for 63 years and Mrs. Treese has belonged for 58 years. At the church, Mrs. Treese is active in the Missionary Society and the church choir.
