Doris and Andrew Herceg

Andrew and Doris Herceg of Sarver celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

Herceg married the former Doris Szebalskie on June 22, 1957, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot.

They have two children, Douglas Herceg of Pittsburgh and Deborah Steiner of Saxonburg.

They also have four grandchildren.

Herceg is retired from his job as a math teacher and administrator at the South Butler and the Freeport school districts.

Mrs. Herceg is retired from job as a secretary, having worked for superintendents at the South Butler and Freeport school districts.

The couple belongs to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
