Burtner

Pearl Burtner of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, Butler.

The former Pearl Bachman was born June 12, 1917, in Butler. She married Cecil Burtner on Aug. 14, 1937. He is deceased.

She has two children, Carol Peters and Marsha Himchak, both of Butler. A son, Ronald Burtner, is deceased.

Burtner has six grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased. She also has 13 great-grandchildren.

She is a member of Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.
