Bega

Genevieve Bega, 94, of Butler passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Lowrie House in Butler.

She was born March 15, 1916, in Butler Township, the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary (Burelli) DiFoggi.

She loved cooking, gardening and animals.

She was a Protestant.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Albert (Marcia) Thomas of Butler; two granddaughters, Sarah Thomas and Kimberly Bega; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Bega of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bega, who died May 8, 2002; her son, David Bega, and four brothers.
