Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments.

Butler

Aug. 26 — Dontez R. McClurkin, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to an Aug. 24 domestic incident on West New Castle Street. Police said McClurkin pulled his girlfriend from a porch by her hair. Police said the girlfriend had an abrasion and bleeding on her knee.

Aug. 23 — Jasmine M. Wilcox, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 23 vehicle crash on North Main Street in Butler. Police said Wilcox hit a tree stump and drove onto a sidewalk before parking at GetGo. Police said field sobriety tests showed Wilcox was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.153%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Aug. 23 — Jamie A. Green, 50, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief related to an Aug. 16 report of an assault on North Chestnut Street. Police said Green exited his vehicle when a man told him to stop looking at him. Police said Green then took the man’s cane from him, punched him in the face and threw the cane at the man’s car, causing about $1,100 in damage.

Cranberry Twp

Aug. 28 — Adriana M. Blanco-Sarabia, 46, of Wexford, was charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft and possessing stolen property related to a June 27 incident at Walmart. Police said Blanco-Sarabia was a Spark Driver at the time, a job that allows customers to have groceries delivered through a phone app. Police said while shopping and scanning items for her customers, Blanco-Sarabia picked up additional items that she didn’t scan. Police said Blanco-Sarabia stole $233 worth of items during three visits to the store that day.

Aug. 28 — Four people were charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal conspiracy, possessing criminal tools and disorderly conduct related to observed solicitations on Aug. 28 on Nicklas Drive. Florian Gheorghe, 46, Narcisa Gheorghe, 39, Luis M. Gheorghe, 20, and Elisa Gheorghe, 18, all were charged. Police said Florian and Luis Gheorghe both are from Houston, but the women did not have home addresses. Police said they saw Narcisa Gheorghe holding a sign claiming her husband was sick, and they needed money for food, medicine and rent. Police said the other three were in a nearby van. Police said the four had been warned previously about illegal solicitation, and Florian Gheorghe had an active arrest warrant from Ohio for solicitation.

Aug. 27 — Robert W. Felton, 31, of West Mifflin, was charged with felony unauthorized device access related to a May 9 report of a stolen check. Police said Felton took a check from a mailbox on Marshal Road and tried to cash it via ATM for a value of nearly $2,000.

Aug. 27 — Two men were charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft, criminal conspiracy and possessing stolen property related to an Aug. 6 incident at Hobby Express on Route 228. Police said Timothy L. Hamilton, 44, of Carnegie, and Donald L. Johnson, 43, of Pittsburgh, stole two remote-control transmitters with a total value of $375 by removing them from their packaging and distracting store employees.

Aug. 23 — Juine P. Santiago, 51, of McKees Rocks, was charged with felonies of retail theft and possessing stolen property related to a June 20 incident at Lowe’s. Police said Santiago stole about $485 worth of items, and he has 10 past retail theft convictions and five cases pending across four counties.

State Police, Butler

Aug. 27 — Andrea K. Undercuffler, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and marijuana possession related to a July 5 traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed Undercuffler was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in her system. Police said they found three marijuana vape pens when they searched her vehicle.

Aug. 27 — David B. Giesler, 65, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and drug paraphernalia possession related to a June 23 traffic stop on Hansen Avenue in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed Giesler was impaired, and a later blood test showed benzoylecgonine, cocaine and methamphetamine in his system. Police said they found a smoking pipe in Giesler’s backpack.

Aug. 27 — Michael R. Sparks, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to an Aug. 23 incident on Grant Street in Butler. Police said Spark hit someone in the jaw and fled the scene.

Aug. 27 — Deborah D. Young, 55, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI, drug possession, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a June 24 sobriety checkpoint on Herman Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Young was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana and amphetamines in her system. Police said during a later vehicle search, they found marijuana, a vape pen and other related paraphernalia.

Aug. 27 — Adam W. Dennett, 46, of New Castle, was charged with felony false statement related to a gun purchase March 23, 2021, at Rural King in Center Township. Police said Dennett omitted his criminal history from the application.

Aug. 22 — Two men were charged in relation to an Aug. 21 domestic incident. Police charged Martin E. Scriven, 53, and Quinton E. Scriven, 21, both of Eau Claire, with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said the pair had fought each other, causing scratching and bruising injuries to both.

Aug. 21 — Amy L. Bartlett, 49, of Saxonburg, was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor unauthorized vehicle use related to a reported vehicle theft Aug. 20 from Oak Leaf Drive in Jefferson Township. Police said Bartlett stole her father’s truck.
