Eric R. Stewart

Eric R. Stewart, 34, of Butler died Monday at his home.

Born Aug. 6, 1971, in Butler, he was the son of Phyllis Cangi Stewart and John E. Stewart, both of Butler.

He was a Catholic and attended St. Paul Catholic School. He was a 1990 alumnus of Butler High School, where he received the Most Talented Art Student Award and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1994.

He owned and operated the Stugotti's Tattoo Studio in Indiana, Pa.

Mr. Stewart was a very gifted artist and was well known in Butler for his talent. He was an avid Steelers fan and wanted to be remembered for his smile. He was forever loved by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John J. and his wife, Sharon, and James P. Stewart, all of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Jeff (Vicki) Reidenbach of Butler; a niece, Heather Stewart of Butler; a nephew, John P. Stewart of Butler; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Marty Stewart, who died Nov. 30, 2003; his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a cousin.

STEWART - Friends of Eric R. Stewart, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at theYOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
