8:20 a.m. Thursday —Jessie L. Dick, 32, and Jonathan A. Lubinsky, 29, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly tried to take items from Kmart on Hansen Avenue without paying.5:53 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Rosemarie Fornari, 49, of Butler and a car driven by Nancy S. Bruce, 59, of Albany, Ind., collided on East Brady Street at the entrance to Citizens Bank.

10 p.m. Wednesday — Someone broke into the Dale Street residence of Mary Greenawalt of Grove City between 5 and 10 p.m. Wednesday. Nothing appears to be missing, but the building was damaged during the break-in. Anyone with information should call police at 724-458-7925.April 19 — A vehicle driven by Jeffrey Lopez, 30, of Grove City struck two street signs and a tree along East Main Street. No injuries were reported.

4:31 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Timothy R. Gerwig, 19, of Slippery Rock crashed into a utility pole along Hunt Road in Worth Township. Gerwig suffered minor injuries and was treated at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.4:18 a.m. Thursday — A SUV driven by Jeffrey L. Becker, 25, of Harrisville crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Route 308 in Center Township. Becker was not injured and was cited for driving at unsafe speed, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.6:30 p.m. Wednesday — John A. Christie Jr., 45, of Sarver was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old Sarver woman during an argument at a Gulick Lane residence in Winfield Township.1:30 p.m. Monday — Police are investigating a burglary at 156 Robbie Way, a residence in Lake Arthur Estates, Muddy Creek Township. Jewelry, video games and a 32-inch TV were stolen as one individual entered the home and stuffed items into a plastic garbage bag, and another suspect acted as the getaway driver.Police interviewed two men who allegedly admitted involvement, leading to the recovery of the jewelry on Monday and other items from a New Castle pawnshop on Wednesday. Despite the admissions, police have not yet filed any charges. The investigation is ongoing.

2:05 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Carl A. Shipton, 37, of Grove City crashed into a culvert and the Grove City Medical Center sign along Route 173 in Pine Township. Shipton, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered severe injuries and was taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center, then taken by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
