Saturday — A purse and wallet were stolen between 4 and 9 p.m. from a car at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.Saturday — An unknown thief cleaned out a dryer at the University Laundry at Midway Street and Malby Drive in Slippery Rock. Stolen were three sweat shirts and three pairs each of jeans and sweat pants. The theft happened between 10 a.m. and 8:45 p.m.

6:45 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Jeffrey E. Richards, 36, of Shelocta struck the rear of another car that Ronald E. Ford, 62, of Karns City was driving on Route 422 near Mushroom Farm Road in West Franklin Township. Richards, who was taken to ACMH Hospital in Kittanning with minor injuries, was cited for careless driving.3:05 p.m. Friday — William M. Strong, 46, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 66 in Manor Township.
