12:57 p.m. Jan. 28 — A car driven by Shirley Nelson, 80, of Grove city was struck by a train after it became stuck on the railroad tracks near the intersection of East Pine Street and Washington Boulevard. Nelson was not in the vehicle during the collision and was uninjured.

5:48 p.m. Wednesday — Tokin L. Roy, 31, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of DUI and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after the car he was driving collided with a state police cruiser which was trying to pull him over along Old Route 422 in Summit Township. Roy and the driver of the police cruiser, Trooper Omer C. Shankle, 43, of Butler, were not injured.Tuesday — Someone stole bank account information belonging to Michael W. Clayton of Petrolia, then used the information to make several grocery purchases in Florida between Jan. 31 and Tuesday.2:37 a.m. Jan. 31 — Tammi Price, 48, of Renfrew was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.Jan. 28 — A car driven by Michael J. Christy, 26, of Butler and a tractor trailer driven by Randall S. Canedy, 57, of Herman collided on Route 228 in Clinton Township. Christy suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving without insurance and a seat belt violation. Canedy was uninjured.Jan. 12 — Louise K. Zangara, 40, of Roseville, Mich., was charged with access device fraud after she allegedly stole credit card information belonging to Daniel J. Kummer of Butler and used the information to pay a phone bill.
