1:45 a.m. Wednesday — An Allegheny County man was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop on West Cunningham Street. While speaking to the suspect, David Kuna, 20, of Gibsonia, an officer spotted in Kuna's car a small blue pill that turned out to be a prescription painkiller, a police report said.Police said Kuna admitted the pill was his and that he bought it illegally. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving without of license.Sunday — An unknown vandal or vandals overnight damaged a half dozen vehicles on or near Hickory Street. The vehicles were vandalized with white paint.Police said the paint was used to draw designs including a swastika and to write derogatory words. Two of the vehicles, officers said, were marked with the word "Click." Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-287-7743.
4:47 p.m. Tuesday — Stacey Amanda Lecerf, 22, of Butler is accused of shoplifting merchandise at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Police said Lecerf is charged with retail theft.7:40 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Shane Frampton, 33, of New Castle struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle at Routes 422 and 356. Janice Martin, 47, of New Castle was driving the SUV.
Tuesday — Four car wheels and tires were stolen from a storage shed on Milelong Hill Road in North Buffalo Township. Police said the theft occurred between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. Tuesday.
