9:02 p.m. Wednesday — Someone broke into the storage building at Nagel's Car Wash on South Monroe Street, stealing an aluminum extension ladder valued at $300.7:38 a.m. Monday — A 17-year-old Butler boy was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly admitted to a break-in at Waterbec Auto Body on South Cliff Street this past weekend.Saturday — Police have recovered what they believe to be a stolen guitar. To claim it, call 724-287-7743, and be prepared to provide the instrument's make, model and serial number.

Wednesday — Police are investigating the theft of money and several GPS units from vehicles parked along Oakdale and Evans City roads. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9443.5:30 p.m. Tuesday — Norman Leroy Kemp, 29, of Sarver was charged with retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal $492 worth of electronics, DVDs and Blu-ray discs from Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.2:04 p.m. Monday — Michele R. Pyle, 35, and David J. Robertson, 33, both of Chicora, each were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responding to a medical call at a house on New Castle Road allegedly discovered heroin and drug paraphernalia.

4:59 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Chelsey Schnur, 18, of Cabot and a car driven by Jamey Koss, 35, of Fenelton collided at the intersection of Great Belt and Schnur roads. No one was injured. Schnur was cited for a stop sign violation.

1 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole prescription medication belonging to Danny Enrico of Grove City from his car while it was parked along Macrae Drive in Pine Township. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.

Monday — Marcus Robert Hodak, 39, of Worthington was charged with simple assault after he allegedly pointed a loaded pistol at several individuals walking past his car on Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin Township in an attempt to scare them.
