7:30 p.m. Monday — A9-year-old boy told police that an unknown man accosted him while walking in the 100 block of Zeigler Avenue.Police said the man reportedly grabbed the boy by the jacket and told him to "get over here." The child was able to pull free from the man's grasp but he was also pulled out of his jacket.The boy apparently was not injured. Apolice report did not indicate if his jacket was taken.The child told police the attacker had a "deep voice,"but he was unable to provide any additional description."Residents are asked to be aware of their surroundings,"police noted in their news release, "and to report any suspicious persons to the police immediately."
11:45 p.m. Monday — Chad Lineman, 22, of Rimersburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the after his car crashed through a yard and slammed into a utility pole in Madison Township.Lineman was treated at Clarion Hospital for unknown injuries.
Tuesday — About 500 pounds of copper wire was stolen between 7 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday from Shop Drive in Bradys Bend Township. Interstate Builders of East Brady owns the wire.4:!5 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Alicia Brocious, 20, of Templeton struck an embankment and rolled over, landing next to a tree along Anderson Road in Pine Township, Armstrong County.
