7:03 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Donna Lineberry, 38, of Evans City and a mini-van driven by Tamara Boldstridge, 41, of Lyndora collided on West Jefferson Street.Lineberry was cited for a lane violation, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, and driving an unregistered and uninspected vehicle.6:58 p.m. Monday — An unidentified vehicle slid on snow-covered Morton Avenue near Cottage Hill Avenue, struck a car driven by Tiffany Lule, 26, of Butler and did not stop following the crash.
1:20 a.m. Wednesday — Troy Cornman Jr., 20, of Freeport was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 356 and 28. In addition to DUI, he faces charges of underage drinking and driving with a suspended license.
Wednesday — A pickup truck reported stolen Tuesday night from the Center Township home of Richard Friez was found Wednesday morning abandoned in Butler. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.1 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Kelly Deal, 20, of Karns City struck an embankment and rolled over twice on Hooker Road near Elm Road in Fairview Township. Deal, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a moderate head injury.8:10 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Jessica Markoski, 22, of Pittsburgh struck an embankment and rolled onto its side on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Markoski, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for neck and back injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.7:24 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Mary Moser, 31, of Pittsburgh skidded off snow-covered Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township and flipped over three times, landing in the median. Moser, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.5:49 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Linda Bowser, 57, of Eau Claire skidded off snow-covered Route 38 in Oakland Township, hit an embankment, crossed over the road and hit a guardrail. Bowser, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.5:02 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Cherish Brookbank, no age given, of Butler skidded off ice-covered Route 356 in Summit Township and struck a set of bushes.3:40 a.m. Sunday — Several residents in the Rincandin Road area of Jefferson Township reported seeing an unknown man looking into vehicles parked in driveways of homes. The man was wearing dark clothing and possibly a camouflage jacket.Sunday — A 15-year-old girl faces a felony assault charge for allegedly punching a staff member at the Northern Butler County Secure Detention and Treatment Center in Allegheny Township.The girl, who police did not identify, is accused of spitting on several employees of Mid-Atlantic Youth Services, which operates the center. When staffer Rachel Patton, 30, of Chicora tried to restrain the teen, police said the girl punched Patton in the face.Police said the girl faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.9:07 p.m. Feb. 23 — Terry Lee Snow, 49, of Hilliards was arrested for driving under the influence on Higgins Road in Washington Township.
1:21 a.m. Wednesday — A 19-year-old Renfrew man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County. Two men riding in the vehicle, one from Lyndora and the other from Butler, who police did not identify, were cited for underage drinking.
