4:25 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Adam Ansani, 29, of Butler struck a utility pole along Pearl Street. Police said Ansani drove off after the crash. He suffered unknown injuries.
2:28 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Dante Natili, 17, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Litman Road. Natili suffered minor injuries.10:30 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Norman Miller, 65, of Butler struck a traffic signal pole on New Castle Road at the entrance to the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Miller was flown by medical helicopter with unknown injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.
Tuesday — A teen's purse was taken between 4:30 and 10 p.m. from her car at the Slippery Rock high School parking lot in Slippery Rock Township.Tuesday — A Sony Playstation and video game were taken between Sunday and Tuesday from the Sherman Avenue home of Margaret Arlotta in East Butler.12:20 a.m. Saturday — Timothy Chapman, 40, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Center Township.11:05 a.m. Dec. 28 — A car driven by Sharon Cheeks, no age given, of Butler and a truck driven by James Szewczyk, no age given, of New Castle collided at Routes 38 and 422 in Summit Township. Cheeks, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
9:24 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Dennis Miller, 55, no address given, struck a log pile and rolled onto its roof along Bunker Hill in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. A boy who was riding in the pickup had moderate injuries and was taken to the Armstrong Center for Medicine and Health in Kittanning. Miller was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
9 a.m. Friday — Darryl Spencer of 346 E. Spring St. reported someone overnight broke into his truck and took two gift cards and change valued at $56.11:20 a.m. Friday — Megan Urbanic of 120 S. High St. reported someone overnight broke into her vehicle and took a purse that contained about $400 in cash.12:08 p.m. Friday — Jeneane Hora, 33, no address available, reported someone took a large and small purse out of her vehicle while it was parked in the lot at 3 B's Lounge on South Main Street. There was no cash in the purse, but there may have been credit cards taken.4:25 p.m. Friday — Eric Cunningham of 132 Oakdale Drive reported someone broke into his vehicle at 306 McKim St. and took an iPod and iPod FM transmitter from it.
