2:33 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Christopher Beck, 23, of Butler was traveling on West Penn Street when it left the road, hitting several garbage cans before striking an Allegheny Power utility pole. He was not injured. The accident left 240 residences without electricity all morning. Beck was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and failing to drive on the correct side of the road.4:56 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Colleen King, 42, of Butler struck the rear of a Jeep driven by Cindy Deal, 51, on New Castle Street. Deal's vehicle was stopped for a red light.4 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Aidan Adams, 22, of Buffalo, N.Y., was traveling on Center Avenue when it slid on the snow-covered road and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported.9:54 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Jason Krom, 35, of Butler hit the left side of a parked vehicle owned by Henry Brown of Butler on Pillow Street.10:30 p.m. Thursday — Kenneth Kramer of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck the driver's side of his parked car on North Monroe Street.
12:40 a.m. Thursday — William Dickerson, 19, of Shinglehouse, Potter County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and underage drinking at Kiester and Harmony roads in Slippery Rock Township.
