2:09 a.m. Saturday — Harold Bennett, 50, of Clay Township was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street Extension. He was also cited for careless driving.12:24 p.m. Thursday — Howard Barnes Jr. 33, of Chicora was arrested for driving under the influence on Mercer Road. He was also cited for a turning violation.

2:15 a.m. Sunday — Sean Geagan, 27, of West Sunbury was arrested on drunk driving and other charges following a Clay Township crash that seriously injured a passenger in his car.Police said Geagan was speeding on Route 308 near Byers Road when he lost control of his Dodge Stratus and crashed. He and passenger Jamie Eiler, 29, of Butler were thrown out of the vehicle. Geagan was not wearing a seat belt. It was not known if Eiler was wearing a seat belt.Eiler was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not known this morning.Geagan, who was not injured, was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence, and aggravated assault while DUI. He is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.6:24 p.m. Saturday — A minivan driven by James Badger, 87 of Harmony struck the rear of a car on Route 19 near Eppinger's Restaurant in Muddy Creek Township. Stacy Hack, 39, of Portersville was driving the car.10:50 p.m. Friday — Jeffrey Walker, 45, of Butler was seriously injured when his car struck two trees along Monroe Road in Penn Township. He was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital. A condition report was not available this morning.7:48 p.m. Friday — Kathryn Schuller, 23, of Butler was seriously injured in a two-car crash on Route 68 near Ash Stop Road in Forward Township.Police said the crash occurred when a car driven by Sharon Boros, 41, of Zelienople crossed the centerline and collided with Schuller's car. Schuller suffered major injuries while Boros suffered minor injuries, police said. Both were taken to Allegheny General Hospital. Their conditions were not known this morning.Police cited Boros for an undisclosed traffic violation.2:50 p.m. Friday — One person was injured in a four-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on Route 68 in Forward Township.The crash occurred when a car driven by Gabrielle Zulick, 26, of Butler struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle driven by Daniel Desieroth, 41, of Pittsburgh. The SUV was pushed into the rear of a car driven by Dennis Kopp Jr., 33, of Butler. Kopp's car, in turn, struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Paul Miller, 44, no address given.Police cited Zulick for careless driving.2:40 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Danny Littler, no age given, of Oil City, Venango County, struck another car parked along Route 8 in Mercer Township. Timothy Blair of Butler owns the parked car.

Noon Saturday — Police are searching for the driver of an unidentified, silver Dodge Neon that struck a Ford Escort at Routes 173 and 965 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County and did not stop following the crash. The Neon was last seen traveling west on Route 965.Patricia Dilley, 44, of Grove City was driving the Escort. She was not injured. Anyone with information about the driver of the Neon in the crash is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.
