Alex Cambridge, of Franklin Township, has earned his Eagle Scout status as a member of Boy Scouts Troop 33 of Prospect.

His Eagle Scout project was the construction of a gaga ball pit for Community Care Connections in Butler. The pit will be used in the organization’s Camp Apple program, which is an inclusive day camp program held annually for children with and without disabilities.

Alex is attending U.S. Navy boot camp in Great Lakes, Michigan, with the goal of becoming a Navy corpsman.

He is the son of Erin McCracken and stepson of Benjamin Frazier, both of Franklin Township; and the late Charles Cambridge and stepmother Nae Scales, of Charlotte, N.C.
