9:15 a.m. Wednesday - Richard Carr Jr. of Oak Street reported his car was hit overnight while it was parked on Oak near his home.
5 p.m. Wednesday - A blue truck backed into a vehicle driven by Harry Goldinger, 29, of Butler on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. The unknown driver of the truck then fled. Goldinger and his passenger, Jennifer Mangini, 22, both of Butler, sustained minor injuries. Two children passengers were not hurt.4:12 p.m. Thursday - A vehicle driven by Cathleen Johnson, 56, of Prospect and a car driven by Jennifer Houston, 31, of Portersville collided on Route 422 at the Unionville Road intersection. Houston and her two passengers, Felicia Johnson, 9, and Shayna Johnson, 6, had minor injuries and were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.Thursday - Clyde Gudyk, 47, of New Castle reported the theft of his black Pontiac Sunbird from 112 Greenhill Road in Fairview Township sometime between 7 and 11 a.m. Anyone with information about the theft should call state police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday - Chad Hershberger, 25, of Chicora reported the theft of a stereo and miscellaneous CDs totaling $230 from a Jeep Sahara parked in the driveway behind 117 Green St. in Chicora. Anyone with information about the theft should call state police.
7:29 p.m. Monday - Vehicles driven by Casey T. Winkle, 18, of Valencia Road, Mars, and Jennifer N. Wiley, 18, of Foxhurst Driven, Pittsburgh, collided at the intersection of Swain Hill and Little Creek. Neither driver nor the single passenger in each of the vehicles were injured.7:05 a.m. Monday - Ron Randazza, a foreman for Tri-County Workforce of Butler, reported someone over the weekend tipped over a port-o-john and pried open the door, taking a variety of tools from the workplace. The 18-man group was working along Beahm Crest Lane as part of the federally-funded flood clean-up program. Among the items missing are shovels, pruners, hand saws, racks, and digging bars. There was no value available for the stolen tools.1:16 p.m. May 17 - A vehicle driven by Linda Korczynski, 49, Little Creek Road, Jackson Township, was traveling on Route 19 near the intersection with Saltarica Lane, when she lost control of the vehicle crossed over the lanes and struck a utility pole. The vehicle caught fire, but was extinguished by a bystander. No injures were reported. Korczynski told police brake problems caused her to lose control.
