Tuesday - Two teenagers were cited following a noise complaint at Father Marinaro Park. Police went to the park and found four youths bouncing a bowling ball at a pavilion near the skateboard park.Charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana were John Johnston, 19, of 610 Center Ave., and a 17-year-old city youth, whom police did not identify. The 17-year-old was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:30 p.m. Tuesday - A 21-year-old Butler man was injured when his motorcycle crashed in the rear parking lot at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.Jeremy Fisher, who was wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter with internal injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is in serious condition.10:20 p.m. Tuesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Kristen Davis, 17, of New Castle and a car driven by Richard Graham, 25, of Butler collided on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.8:45 a.m. Monday - Two people were injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Summit Township.The crash occurred when a mini-van driven by James Brady, 79, of Evans City struck the rear of a car driven by Annmarie Montgomery, 38, of Butler. The car traveled about 66 feet and struck a concrete divider on the road. The van, owned by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, caught fire and was later extinguished by Lick Hill and Oakland Township-Oneida Valley volunteer firefighters.Montgomery and Louise Billock, 53, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, a passenger in the van, suffered undisclosed injuries. Police said both were wearing seat belts.Sunday - A Pioneer stereo/compact disc player was taken from a car at JR's Truck and Auto Sales on Route 422 in Franklin Township. The theft occurred between 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.8:30 p.m. Saturday - A car driven by Brittney Harrell, 16, of Butler struck an embankment, became airborne and slammed into a tree along Route 308 near Branchton Road in Cherry Township. Harrell was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.

5:30 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Dustin Mazon, 21, of Sandy Lake struck a tree along Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. Mazon, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.1:41 a.m. Monday - A tractor-trailer driven by Kenneth Johnston, 44, of Chelsea, Mich., struck the rear of a car driven by Corina Warren, 43, of West Valley, Utah, on Interstate 80 in Barkeyville, Venango County.Warren and two youths, Ladon Gibson, 11, and Iman Gibson, 14, both of West Valley, were taken with minor injuries to United Community Hospital in Grove City. All three occupants of the car were wearing seatbelts.
