Charles C. 'Chuck' Borland Jr.
Charles C. “Chuck” Borland Jr., 63, of Valencia died Wednesday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.
Born in Glendale, Calif., on June 29, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Anne F. Bovan Borland Sr.
Chuck was a self-employed general contractor and owner of C.&C. Home Improvements in Valencia.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Cranberry Elks and the NRA, and he had been a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church.
Chuck was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Geer Borland, who he married on April 15, 1972; a daughter, Erica Clason and her husband, Mark, of Orwell, Ohio; a son, Andrew Borland and his wife, Chrystal, of Ross Township; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Katrina and Charles Clason and Hayley and Anna Borland; and a sister, Andrea Borland Ferguson and her husband, Neil, of Vero Beach, Fla.
BORLAND — Friends of Charles C. “Chuck” Borland Jr., who died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
