Janet Cooper, 77, of Butler, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024.

She was born in Butler on April 8, 1947, to the late James Craig and Jane Fuller.

Janet graduated from Butler High School and was employed as an administrative assistant at Irene Stacy Mental Health. She had a life brimming with family, friends, laughter and love. Janet’s sense of humor infused joy into every encounter. You would be “hornswoggled” not to be overcome with hilarity from her endearing charm.

Janet was the beloved wife of James Cooper; mother of Stephen (Mimi) Cooper and Justin (Jessica) Cooper; sister of Carol Gadsby and twin sister of Jean (Thomas) Adamsky; and grandmother of Adrienne, Bryce, Alyson, Skyler and Zoe Cooper. She is also survived by her “granddog,” Fredo.

COOPER — A celebration of life for Janet Cooper, who died Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, will be held privately at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
