Grove City College’s Symphony and Chamber Orchestras will give a fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus, which will feature movie themes and more.

The Chamber Orchestra is performing John Williams’ “Jurassic Park” theme, featuring the memorable French horn theme, and Soon Hee Newbold’s “Irish Legend.”

The Symphony Orchestra will then perform Howard Hanson’s “Symphony No. 2, Romantic,” which merges 19th and 20th century compositional philosophy, and David Arnold’s suite from the movie “Independence Day,” highlighting the 1996 film’s action, drama and suspense.
