Rick Siger, secretary of the state Department of Community and Economic Development announced Tuesday, Oct. 1, the opening of the $400 million Pennsylvania Strategic Investments to Enhance Sites program.

Known in short as PA SITES, the program will make funding available to eligible applicants to develop competitive sites for businesses to relocate or expand within Pennsylvania.

Applications for PA SITES funding, is now open and will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Eligible applicants include municipalities, economic development organizations, redevelopment authorities, municipal authorities, industrial development agencies and for-profit organizations.
