Community members are collecting small household items, hygiene products, water, baby items, clothes and nonperishable food to distribute to victims of Hurricane Helene.

Donations can be dropped off at the Butler Sam’s Club parking lot at 200 Moraine Pointe Plaza, Butler Township, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6; and from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7.

A truck will be departing with the donations to Barnardsville, N.C., on Tuesday.
