Prior to COVID-19, I volunteered at Under Our Wing in Butler, independent living for seniors. When COVID hit, visits were shut off and the amazing staff were there tending to the residents 2/7.

After I retired, I started part-time at Under Our Wing as a home care assistant. I wish to have people know how wonderful and caring our Certified Nursing Assistants, Tiffany, Joy, Missie, Haley and Angellic are, as well as our very special boss, Luella.

The CNAs work round the clock, caring for the residents, working together, as a family. I have been there over a year and have great admiration for everything they do. I truly admire each and every one of you!

Luella, our boss, the glue that keeps it all together, wearing so very many hats and doing a tremendous job. I have watched her, seen her concern and care for the residents, at the same time working with the CNAs and crazy schedules to make sure the residents are tended to.

The tremendous contributions that each makes in caring for residents at their bedside, all day and your tireless efforts to improve the lives of others do not go unnoticed. They always put the well-being of the residents first. The impact of all of them in the health care industry is immeasurable. I just want people to know how much work and love they put into their jobs and thank them for all they do every day!
