Florence ‘Flo’ Listwak

Listwak

Born Florence “Flo” Henrietta Kulikowski on July 17, 1942, in Natrona Heights, Pa., Flo Listwak was the only child of the late Ziggy and Henrietta. She died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at the age of 82.

She was the beloved wife for 27 years of Charles Richard Listwak, who passed away in 1994; loving mother of Jeffrey Allan Listwak (Joanna) of Zelienople and Erin Rae Kenyon (John) of Cranberry Township; and proud grandmother of Jennifer, Julia and Katherine Listwak, all of Pittsburgh, and Hannah, Will and Charlie Kenyon of Cranberry Township.

Flo was an incredible person and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched many lives. A graduate of Robert Morris secretarial school, she began her career at PPG Industries and worked in various roles as a secretary and homemaker before retiring in 2007 to move closer to her children and grandchildren. This was a blessing in so many ways. Flo was able to watch her grandchildren grow up and be a significant part of their lives. She was a huge help as a trusted babysitter, assisting with errands, hosting sleepovers and especially Friday evening pool parties, which were fun summer evenings filled with music, pizza and lots of laughs.

Although Flo endured losing her mother as an infant, and her husband, Chuck, in the prime of their lives, her golden years were filled with many treasured moments spent enjoying traveling with family and friends to some amazing places, developing new social friendships and especially spoiling her grandchildren. Klondike bars, Tom Tucker mint ginger ale and M&M’s were all staples at her house. She spoke Polish as her first language, attended a Steelers Super Bowl win and even achieved the rare accomplishment of a hole-in-one.

Flo’s legacy to all of us is a rich life filled with love and laughter. She is now in heaven with the love of her life and husband, Chuck.
