Christine M. Lambert, 43, of West Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, peacefully at her home.

Born April 17, 1981, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Terry L. Hortert and Illa (Brewster) Hortert of West Sunbury.

Christine was a graduate of the Moniteau School District and Butler County Community College, where she earned an associate degree in psychology. She formerly worked at Catholic Charities and was a legal advocate for VOICe. Her ability to help those experiencing life-changing events was what she felt called to do and gave her great satisfaction.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed painting and all kinds of creativity and spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Tyler Lambert; her mother, Illa Hortert; two sons, Elijah Rieger and Noah Rieger, both of Seven Fields; two brothers, Terry (Casondra) Hortert Jr. of Butler and Daniel Hortert of West Sunbury.

She was preceded in death by her father.

LAMBERT — As per the wishes of Christine Marie Lambert, who died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, there will be no public visitation or funeral. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
