Helen Sadlak Suchy, 94, formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully Aug. 1 in Chapel Hill, N.C., after several years of declining health.

She was born in Butler, Sept. 17, 1913.

Helen was a member of the Oak Hills Christian Church in Butler and lived in Oak Hills before moving to North Carolina in 1997.

Helen is survived by her husband of 74 years, John Suchy, also formerly of Butler; and a daughter, Nancy Suchy Clark, who lives in Chapel Hill. Helen also is survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Mrs. Mary Evans of Butler.

Helen was preceded in death by her son, Robert John Suchy, who died in 1961.

<B>SUCHY </B>— A funeral service for Helen Sadlak Suchy, who died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen Sadlak Suchy can be sent to the Oak Hills Christian Church, 113 Township Line Road, Butler,PA 16002.
