Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments:

State police, Butler

Sept. 3 — Ashley E. Huth, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia related to a July 19 traffic stop on Route 8 in Clay Township. Police said Huth had a blunt, a digital scale, a smoking device and other paraphernalia in her vehicle.

Sept. 3 — Brian T. Kadlubek, 58, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 4 traffic stop on Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Kadlubek was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.142%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Sept. 3 — Anthony R. Genaway, 30, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a single-vehicle crash Aug. 10 on Beaver Dam Road in Clay Township. Police said they found Genaway’s vehicle in the woods. Police said Genaway showed signs of impairment and was taken to the hospital, where a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.291%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is the legal limit.

Sept. 3 — Edward E. Scott Jr., 44, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 1 welfare check on a vehicle at the intersection of Rider Church and West Sunbury roads, Center Township. Police said they found Scott slumped behind the wheel of the stationary vehicle with the driver’s door open. Police said a field sobriety test showed Scott was impaired. Police said Scott later refused to have his blood tested.

Aug. 30 — Ronald R. Piper, 45, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor theft related to an Aug. 11 where police were dispatched to West Sunbury Road in Cherry Township. Police said Piper stole a cash box from a farm stand. The box was estimated to hold about $150.

Aug. 29 — Cameron T. Turner, 35, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor charges of theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle related to an Aug. 23 report of a theft on Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township. Police said Turner stole usable copper wire from his employer and used his company vehicle to scrap the metal.

Aug. 29 — Joseph J. Flis, 68, of Butler, was charged with one felony count of making a false statement during a gun sale related to a Nov. 3, 2022, sale in Washington Township. Police said Flis omitted his criminal history on the paperwork.

State Police, Kittanning

Sept. 3 — Ian A. DiCarlo, 28, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a May 11 report of a reckless driver on Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.127%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Sept. 3 — Brendon H. King, 31, of Verona, Pa., was charged with misdemeanor counts of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia related to a June 16 traffic stop on Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Police said King had a partially-smoked marijuana blunt in his vehicle.
