Catherine A. (Fair) Cox, 77, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, at Advance Care Center of Butler.

She was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Butler, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Daubenspeck) Fair.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Butler, as well as the C.B. Rangers and the Butler Lion's Club. She drove around clients for the Blind Association. Catherine loved reading, coloring, crafts and doing ceramics.

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory her husband, Richard E. Cox of Butler; daughters, Jennifer Cox of Butler and Tammy Suttie (Angela) of Kittanning; brother, Howard Fair Jr. of Reisterstown, Md.; grandsons, Joseph Walls and Cody Walls of Butler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Brownie.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Don Walls Jr. and Scott Walls.

COX — A memorial gathering for Catherine A. (Fair) Cox, who died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with the memorial service to immediately follow at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 12, at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with Pastor David Janz officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning.
