Democratic Party vice presidential candidate Tim Walz will visit Butler County on Tuesday, according to the campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Walz, the governor of Minnesota, is expected to participate in a political event in Butler County on Tuesday afternoon amid a series of campaign events that will end with a rally and reception in Pittsburgh. A time and place for the event have not yet been announced, but will be posted to butlereagle.com and the Eagle’s Facebook page when they are.

“The governor’s trip to Pittsburgh falls as some Pittsburgh voters will begin casting votes at a satellite voting location,” the campaign said in the announcement. It marks Walz’s sixth trip to Pennsylvania — and third trip to Western Pennsylvania — since becoming Harris’ running mate, according to the announcement.

Walz is to travel to Volant in Lawrence County for a campaign event prior to his Butler County stop. He will then proceed to a 5 p.m. campaign rally in Pittsburgh and end his night with a campaign reception, according to the news release.
