Sherry Ann Renfrew

Sherry Ann Renfrew, 69, of Saxonburg passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born on Oct. 27, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Sherwood E. and Ann Elizabeth (Fischer) Griffith.

She was the loving wife of David M. Renfrew, who she married on Sept. 22, 1962.

She was loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marcia A. Foertsch of Pittsburgh, and son, David J. (Sabrina) Renfrew of Saxonburg; her two grandchildren; her brother, David W. (Becky) Griffith of Madison, Ohio; her loving partner, Vernon “Ben” Long, and his family; her two nephews; and her niece.

She was a 1962 graduate of Knoch High School.

She was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. Sherry was the former owner of the Hitching Post in Saxonburg.

She enjoyed dancing, decorating, cooking, bird watching and traveling.

She was a member of the Maqueda Eastern Star, the Pennsylvania Board of Realtors and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dave; her brother, Jack; and her sister, Linda.

Renfrew — The friends of Sherry Ann Renfrew, who passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Roger G. Keller officiating.
