Nell Marie Hile
Nell Marie Hile, 90, of East Second Street in East Brady, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, where she was a resident for the past four years.
Born in Murphysboro, Ill., Dec. 23, 1916, she was a daughter of John S. and Anna E. Overturf Wilson.
She was a Protestant.
Mrs. Hile was a graduate of Yatesboro High School in Armstrong County. Over the years, she had been a cook at the Travelers Hotel in East Brady and had worked at Eccles Nursery in Rimersburg and at Owens Illinois Glass Containers in Clarion.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening and crossword puzzles.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Elizabeth "Bunny" Heginbotham and Donald "Whitey" of East Brady; a son, Thomas Hile of East Brady; two grandchildren, Lynnette Griffith and her husband, Brian, of Chicora and Michael Hile of McKees Rocks; and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Brooke and Tanner Griffith, all of Chicora.
As the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
<B>HILE </B>— Friends of Nell Marie Hile, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Richard d. Hillis funeral home</B>, 758 Main St., Rimersburg. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Evans, chaplain of the Clarion Forrest VNA Hospice, officiating. Private burial will be at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
