Raj D. Boehm
Raj D. Boehm, 68, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born March 17, 1949, in Hauge Settlement, West Coast Demerara, Guyana, South America, she was the daughter of Sukhai Ghirdari and Chameli Poosu.
Raj had worked at Wilt's Supermarket in Elkhart, Ind., and as a nurse's aide and dietary aide at Concordia for 18 years.
She was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church and Curves. She was a poll worker for Clinton Township and volunteered for the Cabot Food Bank, the Lighthouse Food Bank, the Saxonburg Carnival, Concordia Lutheran Ministries functions, Holy Sepulcher Church Bazaar, Meals on Wheels, Relay for Life, Peaceful Patches Charity Quilts and the Saxonburg Festival of the Arts.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph C. Boehm, who she married Aug. 18, 1983; four brothers, Rudrha “Buddy” Dutt of New York City, Harry Chan Sukhai of New York City, Dureka (Debbie) Sukhai of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Dr. Dhanni R. Sukhai of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and her sister, Leila Devandand Dwarca of Baltimore, Md.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harridat Sukhai.

Boehm, who died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cabot United Methodist Church with the Rev.
