Butler man dies after flipping vehicle in Clearfield Township
A 21-year-old Butler man died Sunday afternoon when he was ejected from his vehicle after driving off a road in Clearfield Township, according to police.
Bradey Duncan was traveling northbound on Clearfield Road at 2:26 p.m. when he made “evasive steering action” and exited the right side of the road, state police said.
Duncan lost control of his vehicle, entered back onto the road and struck an embankment on the left side of the road, sending the vehicle airborne. The vehicle rolled twice, Duncan was ejected and suffered fatal injuries, police said.
His vehicle was towed from the scene by Malinski’s Towing. State police were assisted at the scene by East Butler Fire Company and East Butler Ambulance.
Clearfield Road was closed from the railroad tracks to the road’s intersection with Old Route 422 as emergency responders dealt with the crash.
Responders were on scene for more than two hours.
